A shaky-looking Vladimir Putin praised his 'dear friend' President Xi Jinping while he gripped the arms of his chair during the Chinese leader's visit to Moscow today. Putin appeared to be trembling and clutching his seat as he welcomed Xi to the Kremlin today (main) in a sign that the 70-year-old's health is continuing to deteriorate. The Russian despot said he was willing to discuss Beijing's plan to end the war in Ukraine - a move that has been met with scepticism in Kyiv and the West, with world leaders questioning the real motive behind Beijing's plan for peace. 'We are always open to negotiations,' Putin told Xi during the visit, which came mere days after the International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant for the Russian despot over war crimes in Ukraine. 'We will certainly discuss all these issues, including your initiatives which we treat with respect, of course.' China has not offered any concrete proposals to end the war other than a 12-point 'peace plan' which included calling for an end to Western sanctions, negotiations that would see Ukraine ceding territory, a NATO pull-back from its eastern borders and reconstruction efforts that are likely to benefit Chinese contractors. And despite its calls for peace, Beijing has continued to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with Russia and parroted the Kremlin's talking points about NATO expansionism. Indeed, Xi cosied up to Putin today and stroked the Russian leader's ego by saying he was 'convinced' the despot enjoyed the Russian people's support ahead of a presidential election scheduled for next year.?

Bitter parking dispute ends up in court: Moment pensioner, 81, attacked woman neighbour after being asked to move her Audi from communal grass verge in their leafy cul-de-sac

A video captured the moment an 81-year-old woman attacked her neighbour in a petty row over parking on a communal grass verge in their well-heeled cul-de-sac. Eunice Day (bottom left) was caught on video storming over to neighbour Suzanne Webb's (bottom right) house in Ferndown, Dorset, before reaching over her potted geranium plant to assault her. A court heard that 81-year-old Day had upset her new neighbours soon after moving into her rented bungalow by leaving her Audi (top left, circled) on a patch of grass next to it. She kept it there for several weeks, preventing a small group of community-minded homeowners from cutting the grass. Day was asked to move her car by Mrs Webb, but replied that she could 'park wherever I like'. Day was said to have escalated the feud by deliberately blocking a private footpath leading to the five detached homes at the end of the cul-de-sac with her wheelie bin. She was also claimed to have sat outside on her mobility scooter in an attempt to intimidate her neighbours. Matters came to a head after the five residents complained to Day's letting agent about her behaviour. It led Day to 'aggressively' pound on Mrs Webb's front door to have it out with her. The victim videoed Day through her open kitchen window (top right). The footage shows Day reaching over Mrs Webb's window box and smacking the phone out of her hand.?
